TOM FARRIS is a poet from Denton, Texas. He attended the University of Dallas where he became a member of the Bonehouse poets, a group known for hosting readings, often at the Wild Detectives and Lucky Dog Books. He’s been a featured poet with Poets on X+, a poet in residence at the Osage Arts Community in Belle, MO., and has worked with Common Company and Spiderweb Salon. He has been published in The University Scholar, Mad Swirl, In Between Hangovers, and in a flight of Lisa Huffaker's White Rock Zine Machine. His latest collection, Ginger Roots Are Best Taken Orally, is a split book through EMP press he wrote with his poetry brother Victor Clevenger called.He now works with Meet Me With Curiosity to support the development of the literary arts in DFW.
