Paul Overbey is a musician and composer who has played in numerous live groups covering multiple genres. He is a graduate of the University of North Texas where he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2007 (composition.music.unt.edu/overbey-paul).
‘Furies Vol. I’ is a collection of short electro-acoustic works that stylistically adhere to the core human conditions of intensity, instability, and delusion. The album uses varied compositional source material such as tone clusters, twelve-tone technique, whole-tone melody, microtonality, music quotation and musique concrète.
